Location

San Antonio is located at km 234 of Ruta 10. 5 km north of the charming oceanic town of La Pedrera, and 30 km south of Cabo Polonio.

FROM MONTEVIDEO

By car: drive through Interbalnearia Route until Route 9 to Rocha. In Rocha, turn right onto Route 15 towards La Paloma. At junction with Route 10 turn left towards La Pedrera. 6km after La Pedrera turn right for San Antonio.

FROM ARGENTINA

By plane: Aerolíneas Argentinas via Montevideo or Punta del Este

By car: by road through General San Martín International Bridge (Gualeguaychú). Or by Buquebus to Colonia or Montevideo.

By bus: from Retiro Station.

By boat: through Buquebus to Colonia, Montevideo or Punta del Este.

FROM BRAZIL

BR 471 to Chuy. Continue along Route 9 to Castillos, turn left onto Route 10. Continue until Km 234.

RESPECT FOT THE SEA
The beaches of San Antonio do not have a lifeguard service.

SAFE FIRE
If you are going to light a fire for cooking or recreation, be sure to extinguish it properly before leaving the site.

VOLUNTARY CLEANING OF THE BEACH

CRUISE SPEED
San Antonio has quiet streets where visitors, their children and their pets move freely. Please drive slowly.

DUNES
It is recommended not to drive 4 × 4 vehicles over the dunes, traffic destroys the vegetation whose roots hold the sand.

WILD FUNGI
If you are looking to collect mushrooms, it is advisable to ask someone that knows. Uruguay Fungi.

Before eating cockles from the beach, make sure there is no alert for Red Tide in the area.
